Game Review: European War 4

This series is the most similar to a board game that I love, Axis and Allies. On each turn, you create armies, manage your economy, and make strategic battle decisions. In European War 4, you manage a span of time from the American Revolution to the French Revolution.

Each step of the game allows you to progress through more and more history. The campaign itself lets you play the major battles of the Napoleonic Campaign. You can make this game more and more difficult for yourself as you play the game in online and pass and play multiplayer or individual skirmishes.

As an education app, this is a great way to show military combat from each of the wars and engagements of the revolutionary wars in American and France. Keep an eye on the series as more games are released allowing students to play more battles and historically accurate time periods.

Summary

Another great war game from the European War Series. This app covers a great area of military history and allows users to experience and command some of the most surprising military battles in history. The interface is clean and polished, and a great step up from the previous European War games. After a few hours, I was still coming back to try and beat difficult campaign missions. Each level is challenging and engaging. This is a great app if you are focusing your time on teaching or learning the military situation during the American and French Revolutions.
